Is there any reason Q-Chem is still using the 32 bit interface to NBO7?
It would be vastly more convenient and useful if the 64 bit interface was used.
You can feel free to submit a feature request but there has been no groundswell of interest in this, hence no one has done it.
That’s unfortunate. As systems become larger and larger, the lack of the i8 interface will make NBO analysis unusable.
Why won’t Q-Chem donate a source copy to Eric Glendening? He’s more than willing and able to update the interface.
