Iqmol 3 (latest version)

Hi all
I want to download the latest release of IQmol 3. I tried to download it from IQmol Download but there these are available

OS X dmg image.
Windows installer or zip file.

I am using Ubuntu and for that older version is available. Can anyone help me with where and how I can download the latest version of IQmol for Ubuntu?

Unfortunately, the latest IQmol versions do not come with the precompiled binaries for linux. But you may consider the following workaround on Ubuntu.

(1) Download the latest IQmol installer for Windows.
(2) Open it with Q4Wine or some other windows emulator.
(3) When the installer loads, accept license terms and provide the path to the installation folder on your Ubuntu partition. It should work like a standard software installation on windows.
(4) The executable “IQmol.exe” would be in the bin folder of your installation folder. Open this executable again with Q4Wine to start IQmol.

Precompiled binary request for Ubuntu 22.04

Is it possible to get a precompiled binary that is compatible with the recent LT…S version of Ubuntu? It looks like the most recent binary for linux is IQmol version 2.14, which is not compatible with the updated operating system, and trying to compile from source code is currently giving linking errors with libm-2.35 (error below). I will evenutally figure out the linking issue, but it would be nice to just have a version of the binary that works again. Thank you! It works, but it does not quite work out of the box …
